Recently we came across a souvenir programme from the Band’s Golden Jubilee Gala Week in 1976. Several events were arranged for the week and the guest conductor for the massed band concert was Mr Eric Ball, a famous name in the brass band world. The programme contains some photographs that are already on display on our Archive and More Archive Photos pages, as well as many advertisements of village businesses (along with their 3 digit Mawgan telephone numbers!).
